he winds of fall are here, the leaves are falling, the weather is changing, and the night arrives early. With fall comes some of the best fruits and vegetables all year round. Pumpkins and squashes are now in season, but how do you know you have picked the right one? There are dome ways you can check if you have picked the right pumpkin or squash. It should be firm to the rouch, bright in color, the stem should be green, if no stem present it is getting old, turn the vegetable over and push it firmly by the core bottom, if it bounces back, that veggie is past its prime.
