Vegan treats to try........


Here are some fast and easy vegan recipes to try this holiday season. They were featured in Chef Jessica's Healthy Cooking Demo......try them out we will not be disappointed.

Spiced Nuts

2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil

1 teaspoon of Cinnamon

1 teaspoon of Allspice

1 teaspoon of Nutmeg

1 teaspoon of Ground Cloves

3 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar

Assortment of Nuts

Combine all ingredients into a saucepan and stir until brown sugar is melted and the smell of toasted nuts fills the air.

Vegan Sweet Potatoes

5 large and peeled Sweet potatoes

3 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil

3 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1 teaspoon of Nutmeg

Boil sweet potatoes until soft and mashable.....Add all ingredients and mash to your preferred thickness, not soft enough add some coconut milk to smooth. Add your spice nuts on top to enjoy!!!
