Sopa de Salchichón
Baby it's cold outside....try this simple and easy soup recipe that is filling delicious and simple.
1 Sausage cut into small pieces ( We use andouille, but what you love the best)
3 cups Stock (chicken/veggie/beef can all be used - stay tuned for stock recipes)
2 potatoes diced
1/4 cup of diced onion
1/4 cup of diced celery
1/2 cup of diced carrots
1/2 cup fideo (cut spaghetti)
1 TB fresh minced garlic
And of course you will need your soulfrito/soulzon/and souldobo
Let's get Cooking
First things first. Grab the pot and add the garlic onion and sausage..
No need to add additional oil, the fat in the sausage will help the veggies not stick.
Keep the. heat at medium as the flavors begin to combine.
Add ! tablespoon of Soulfrito, and combine,
Then add your carrots, celery and potatoes.
Give the veggies a few minutes to get to know each other.
Once the veggies are happy together- it's time to season!
Add the soulzon and souldobo to taste.
No need for other seasonings everything is packed into those seasonings.
Give the ingredients about five minutes to begin to be happy together.
Then add you stock. Stir everything together and let simmer for 30-45 minutes.
Drop the lid on top if you want it to.combine faster
Add the noodles and let them soak of the flavor until they are tender.
Sprinkle cilantro on top to make it look pretty. And serve
